Maria Papaioannou, lyric dramatic soprano, sung, during her career in Cyprus (Nicosia, Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca), in Europe (Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Serbia, Bulgaria), in America (Mexico), always in first roles of Opera repertoire.

She was the only Cypriot soprano to be invited from Paphos Festival to sing in the first role in IL TROVATORE. Other performed Roles in full-Opera productions: Norma, Cavalleria Rusticana, Don Giovanni, L’Elisir d’Amore, I Pagliacci, Carmen, Tosca, Cosi Fan Tutte, Le Nozze di Figaro, Un Ballo in Maschera, Madama Butterfly, Aida, Suor Angelica, Otello, Stabat Mater, La Forza Del Destino.
